Special Programs in STAR: DREAM Scholars, Velay Fellows, and iSTAR

The STAR Scholars Program isn't just about research — it can give you a chance to explore a new career path, build community with like-minded people, or even travel abroad! Learn more about our smaller programs within STAR, which give you a full-time research experience with an added component: the Drexel DREAM (Diversity, Research, Experiential Learning, Aging Science, and Mentorship) Scholars Program aims to promote diversity in the biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research workforce in aging research; the Velay Fellows program aims to promote and build community among women in STEM; and the iSTAR Scholars program allows students to participate in research abroad at partner international institutions.
