Join the Lindy Center and fellow peers for our monthly Talking Tuesdays. Talking Tuesdays are designed to provide a space for students to come together and engage in meaningful conversations about issues that matter. Each month, we focus on a different topic related to civic engagement. This month we will be discussing anti-racist civic engagement.

The purpose of National Transgender Day of Remembrance is to take intentional time to honor those who have lost their lives through anti-Transgender violence and hate crimes. On November 20, SCDI will be hosting two main events on this day, a flag raising and a reading of the names. They welcome all to join for the flag raising, and are hoping that Drexel staff and students will share in the honor of the reading of names in the Rush Building first floor lobby from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Names will be provided for readers, and we request that folks sign up for 10-minute shift(s) based on individual availability. Lunch will also be provided.

Staying Grounded During Times of Change is a wellness workshop for Drexel staff and faculty, that aims to share the tools, techniques and mental habits that can help participants face moments of change and uncertainty going on this academic year.

For many Philadelphians facing hunger or food insecurity, holiday meals can feel out of reach. That’s where the Drexel community steps in. Join us on campus on Dec. 14 to help distribute frozen turkeys to community organizations.
